Western Joiners (Westelike Skrynwerker) is well known throughout the Western Cape for its excellent quality craftsmanship, joinery, woodworking and the production of doors, windows and gates.
All windows come with standard brass hardware, unless otherwise specified. Side hung opening windows are fitted with brass four bar hinges, (anti-slam). These hinges allow one to reach the outside glass with ease for cleaning purposes. (in a multi storey building)
Top hung outward opening windows are fitted with solid brass flush hinges, or with four bar hinges if requested.
All bottom hung inward opening windows are fitted with solid brass butt hinges, roller stays and spring catches. All pivot windows fitted with pivots, roller stays and spring catches.
All side hung inward opening windows are fitted with solid brass butt hinges, sash fasteners and sliding stays as an additional option. All window sills are grooved for metal weather bar strip.
